You refer to Case V which shows at first the gladiator figurine and then the Centurion figurine.

The crest of the helmet looks to me like a secutor's helmet. But the big neck gard reminds me more of 2nd or 3rd century gladiator helmets.

An interesting figure. The text says "body armor" but I see none. Instead, he wears the extremely voluminous subligaculum of the 3rd-4th centuries with its elaborate belting system, rising almost to the chest. He wears the manica hamata, covering the shoulder and half of the chest, and his helmet is multiply pierced for air and vision. In other words, a "heavy" secutor as depicted on the Villa Borghese mosaic.
