About 3 months ago I asked a question about Caesars planned invasion of Parthia. For some reason this question fascinates me. However, I am not clear on the makeup of a "typical" Parthian army of this era. Does anyone know the approximate percentages of Heavy Cavalry, Light Cavalry (how many of these were bowmen), Light infantry, Archers, and Heavy Infantry (if they had any- perhaps Hellenic mercenaries). Also, if you can point me in the direction of any good references I would appreciate it. <p></p><i></i>
