Martinus,

The photos don't look too bad to me. Considering that you are quite a new group I think everyone looks very well turned out. What period are you depicting by the way? It looks as though the intention is early second century AD.
I only have one small critical point, and that is that it looks as if your tunics are rather too narrow. Next time anyone gets the urge to make himself a new tunic, go for a tunic which which is more or less square and reaches from elbow to elbow (minimum) with the arms outstretched (this negates any need for sleeves) and hangs to mid calf when unbelted. This may seem huge but when hitched up over a waist tie and obscured by armour you will find it looks right.

Anyway, as I said before well done on a well turned out unit. Laud point given.

Salve Crispvs,

Our group, is only about 1.5 years on the go, and it has been a slow grind getting the Kit together.

We have in fact quite a few versions of Tunic none of them are quite right
this is something we are trying to address as time progresses.

We depict late 1st cent early 2nd.(some of the helmets are later we are working on this)
By the way we also have a SENATOR . (he holds a degree in Greek & Roman History) He is an invaluable asset, particularly in the Latin language and translation.
Thank you for the positive feed-back.
