Equestrian or Legionary Rings!
#16
Byron said
Quote:...but since I cant read German, I am not sure if there were any there...

Ave,

Each ring has the same description, sorry but I don’t' see any legion ring, or an equestrian ring specifically.

But since each ring's description says...

Quote:"From this product there are several variants. Therefore orders are possible only on the detail side."

You could show them a photo of what you want carved into the ring, and I would presume they’d make it for you.

The other unique descriptions are statements like:

Quote:"Reconstruction of an original"

"Kaiser era, 1.-3. Century"

"From the Roman province, 1. - 3. Century"

"After an original of the 1.-3. Jhdts"
Vale!

I know there was a site that sold repro coins who also had rings, I thought I had saved tit to my favorites, but obviously I was imagining it!

That is where I think I saw these rings with legion motifs! Any ideas?
The rings so far are great! Big Grin

The last time I had "tit", it was also one of my favorites. But I was probably imagining it.

Hello all,

Sorry to just barge in on the gold and tits, but I'm in the same boat looking to get myself a replica ring but I've no idea how to go about looking for one. Do you simply go down to any local jeweler and ask about it, or is it something you have to contact a specialist in replicas to get done? It's hard to find replica companies in Australia.

Cheers,

Scott.

It seems a if a good deal of responses are aimed at "go and get a replica" kind of suggestion.

In the European countries and those very small islands to Europe's northwest Smile , is it the prevailing notion that ordinary people shouldn't own antiquities?

It's a socialist thing. All property is theft. Etc. Etc.
