I live north of you in Twin Falls, ID. The closest we have around here is the SCA (fun, but they prohibit Roman impressions) and LARPing in the local city park.

Unfortunatly, the only reenacting you will find in your area (and mine) is an annual portrayal of Mormon settlers in covered wagons.

So do you reenact or have any equipment or do SCA stuff. I'm working on a mid 1st century roman britain impersonation

right now all i do is me and a couple friends are trying to learn roman fighting formations and gladius fighting i do not have any roman gear and the sca dosnt do roman

Ask for a cheap(or free junk gladius) in the marketplace. Use a broom or mop handle as a temporary Pila and you can cut out a temporary shield out of plywood. Do not buy any gear before checking out each item here on RAt as their is a lot of inaccurate junk on the market.
