In what is most likely the most momentous Roman military discovery ever, I will shortly reveal the true, historical and factual source of those nagging and persistently awful reconstructions plaguing our world: to wit, Legio Quinquaginta. You have never heard of it because it was periodically subject to damnatio memoriae, all of them. But Leg L was so consistently practical as a repository for everything awful in the real army that it was continually reconstituted.
