Tinning... I know there was a tutorial on that somewhere???
Isn't that basically fluxing and torching melting on?
Reason why I ask is I am using 16 gauge and it is somewhere between a hot rolled and cold rolled state as it has a darker tone to it. To remove it, it takes a serious amount of passes with an angle grinder/flapdisk to remove and reduces the thickness significantly. So tinning may just be the solution.
If so, what flux is used?
