Accuracy of HBO Series: Rome (would like opinions before buy

I'm sure many would agree that the shorter list of this and other film/video productions about Rome would be what the got right.

I have come to expect they'll botch history pretty badly, but overall, I think Rome was a very entertaining program. I thought the switch between the two Octavians was a little abrupt, but the second one did a good job, once I got used to who he was. He had that stern look that the first one did not.
