Neck guard of the Mainz Gallic I

Junkelmann's book on helmets also shows a helmet which is similar in form to the Gallic I from Mainz, although it lacks eyebrows. It is equipped with an applied crest knob of very similar form to that of the Aquincum helmet. If I remember correctly it is slotted from left to right as well (crista traversa maybe?).<br>
