Cavalry and Scythian Impressions

I used 4-5mm Veg Tanned.

The yoke is two layers glued flesh side to flesh side. It is up to 10mm thick in places.

I can personally attest to its protective capabilities after being driven into the ground on my left shoulder when I had a horse trip and lawn dart me over the front!  

The front and back are one layer with the scales sewn to them, but there is another inner front section that is 4mm thick as well.
