Hello everyone. I've been posting in the Roman Army forums for nearly five years and I have to say it's still the best venue for people interested in the subject to share and relate information. I used the nic "A Barca" in the past and with such a name you could imagine the interesting and quite heated discussions I was able to generate.
I'd like to ask about a few individuals who used to post frequently in the forums and who were very much a fixture of the site. One was a very knowledgeable guy who left the impression that he knew everything about Roman history, knew Latin, and gave book suggestions the size of bibliographies that would make an established author blush. Another was a woman who served in the U.S. Armed Forces and who the last time I saw was posted in Germany. It's unfortunate I can't recall their names at the moment (it's been a while since I've posted).
It's good to see the site is still going strong after all these years and I look forward to having good and informative discussions with everyone on board.
