However, there are certain discussions among archaeologists if really everything is reconstructed in an authentic way. The opinions differ at the star of the ship, the bow, and some other smaller details.

Please tell me more - what could be wrong with our bow? It has proved to be remarkably stable up to now

Now in Tarraco You can to see the new ships exposed in the model of Tarraco's city.

I Will Do photos, the exposed ships are exact replies of the ships that existed in Tarraco's port, in the S II.

Principally you would be right - it would be more authentic to display them nearly naked (just with that little minimum clothing they wear there). But bear in mind, that if persons are displayed so realistic as I do it, I cannot show them almost naked. Children, too, might like to see the reconstructions...

I know, I know... but that's a pity... I still don't understand why we (our society) censure nudity.

My fault. I meant ship prow, not bow (Schiffsbug in German)...
Up to know, most reconstructional sketches should better be named "reconstruction proposal", as some insecurities are still there and therefor, they can only be proposals but not final solutions. It's an issue for archaeologists since decades, by the way...

Hmm, even if I HAD photos of almost naked fisherman-posing persons, I would prefer not to use them, just because of the children. But you are somehow right, our current social understanding prohibits those - relatively normal and non-sexual - posings, still. Maybe a pity, but what to do? On the other side, it is not a big problem for me. But if it was about naked beautiful ancient Roman women, well, then bla bla bla etc. etc. ...

Oh-sooo-true! And that is exactly my main problem: my stock of photos is way toooooo limited! That is, why I ask you all to submit photos of you in clearly defined clothings (defined by time frames)!
