Thanks for all the info, guys! Big Grin This should get me on the way. Hammer is bigger and heavier then I expected from the original pic, though. Weighs about two kilo's! Hefty hammer. I like the carpeter hammer Nr 5.

The hammers and tongs haven't changed in a few thousand years. I esp. like the "fibula" tongs! What a great idea!

LOL Making a pair of tongs was the second class project in my blacksmithing class. (Bar stock, fire, anvil and hammer.) You need a punch for the rivet hole, that was the first project. Confusedhock:
