I am so glad I saved all that scrap brass, bronze and copper from the massive armoury cleanup we did last Saturday!

We have already started to build a crucible and a refractory clay-lined oven powered by my Dragon Torch to start it all off! I was just a little iffy about the process, not having seen it before and going solely from written word.

Maybe we'll do a small piece first, then if successful on to our Legionary Eagle first, then maybe some applicaes for my in-progress musculata etc.

All very exciting... I'm sure that it must be more difficult than that, but I guess experience is the best teacher (after you have done your homework of course) :wink:
