TARRACO VIVA 2008
#16
Quote:The weather forecast is rather unpromising. It seems that British weather has reached the Mediterranean this year... Sad

I agree it's a bummer for you guys, but maybe not with regards to this:

Well, we are tired, but happy. Tarraco viva is over!

We have made 2 of the 3 actuations. Sunday we have to cancel one by the rain...

I think it was a great success. GERMANICA VICTRIX!!

Now, we ask for pictures. If anybody have been at Tarraco Viva, please share your pictures.

Here a few of them:

Well, we made our third one under the rain on Sunday  Given the weather forecast, all in all, we were lucky an had a great time there Big Grin
I am sorry because we couldn't reach the acueduct to visit you at the spot Sad At least I can see your pics and regret what I missed.
We'll post pics too as soon as we have them available.
We returned home yesterday evening. Other RATers from Ars Dimicandi, RoemerCohorten Opladen and Musica Romana had longer return trips.

It\'s all an accident, an accident of hands. Mine, others, all without mind, from one extreme to another, but neither works nor will ever.

Avete,
After 10 hours of travel we returned home.
Too bad for the rainy weather but the happiness of having worked the same.
I met friends who hoped to see, Fernando Quesada, Aitor, Lvcivs Alfenus
and many others.
We hope that next year Jupiter Pluvio is more lenient and allow a Tarraco Viva with the nice weather.
A greeting to all and will soon publish some photos.

That water was badly needed there, buuut :?

At least we did three of three  and I got one funny photo in the newspaper Confusedhock: Coh I Gall was Victrix against rain and wind, too.

It was really impressive to reenact the Centcelles hunting scene of the mosaic cuopola just outside it Confusedhock:

And of course meet some RATers too. Sadly not "on duty" :x

Long way back to Freiburg, just arrived some hours ago.

BTW, my first event as member of the Cohors Big Grin
-This new learning amazes me, Sir Bedevere. Explain again how
sheep´s bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes.
