Good Morning All

Well, Bryan,

That sounds hot!

Still blowing a hoolie out here, and raining.

Would gladly send some your way if I could.

Same with the 'Sea Breeze' Hibs... Tongue

Actually still overcast and pleasantly cool here in Burbank (some two hours north of Hibernicus as the car drives).

Although we have had a couple of heat waves this year (109F) it has been, so far, a relatively mild summer as compared to a couple of summers ago with 112F for several days.

As I remember it, the summer nights were in the mid-80's at Ft. Riley Kansas making sleep fitful at best. Still that is nothing compared to Iraq.

And Hibernicus is right -- ComicCon is just four days away and sold out. Should be a hot time in San Diego this weekend!

Quote:Ah! Juuso a friendly piece of advice: The more you sleep the less you serve we used to say when we did what you do! Avoid also tobe in an officers line of sight if you can help it!

When I was a junior nco, I learned to carry a clipboard around with me when I was goofing off. Mostly just blank pages. If any senior nco started looking at me with that permanent scowl they all seem to be born with, I would look back and start checking the clipboard with a pleased expression. They would always quickly go away and leave me alone.

Quote:Hello,
I just wanted to wish everyone a good and wonderful day. I'm starting my morning with a wonderful 100*F temperature. WOOHOO!!! Anybody for the Pool????? Ok I hope you have a day filled with sunshine and happiness!
Later,
Bryan

100*F? Rather you than me!

I spent the weekend in a lush green valley by a lake, sunny with a cool breeze.... and if I hadn't been clad head to toe in medieval garb I may have actually got some vitamin D.

You should send me a picture of the place you are talking about. I could use seeing something other than sand!!!!

ah, very lovely place, you live, Kat!

Currently it's raining here, as it did at our Gladiator shows yesterday. Tomorrow I'll go off to Germany to march in full roman kit for about 2 weeks, and hope the wetter will be a little bit better (but not hotter, I hope)
