The word "Iliad"

Herodotus used the name "Iliad" in Histories 2.116.

I stand corrected. I was thrown by Mr Paley's reference to Histories 3.117. :oops:

So we have narrowed our search down to the period between the 520s and the 420s BC (roughly speaking), and Cicero was a red herring.
