Ivan, I love that new crest of yours!!
Thanx Robert!

Ivan, how are you attaching that epic crest? Reminds me very much of the Vergilius Romans crests.

Cheers

Paul

Just made 2 holes at the ridge, carved the ridge at the wooden base of the crest and fixed it with 2 nails, it's removable.

Graham, when will these paintings be on exhibit in the UK, and where?

Hi Byron

There are over 40 paintings which will be on display in Saint Romain-en-Gal until the end of August. After which the exhibition will travel to Vindonissa Museum near Brugg in Switzerland until May 2011. I have spoken to a few people about the possibility of it going to somewhere in Germany after that.

There are other paintings available such as the bulk of the originals for Roman Military Clothing 3, some of the Roman Naval Forces illustrations and the last ones painted for the Pen and Sword Roman Conquest series that were not ready for the main exhibition. I am also adding new paintings all the time so it is possible they could be displayed elsewhere. If the RAT conference early next year ever takes place I would certainly bring some along to that.

At the moment there are now over 70 paintings in total and they do look pretty impressive when they are all displayed together. They are of course much bigger than what they appear in the books and many people immediately notice the difference in colours too.

Graham.

I would say, even worse than in central Italy!
I think we were at a temperature level comparable to the one, infernal,
