Very top of the page, to the right there is a link which says Private Messages. Click on that and it will open the private mail system for you.

You'll need the proper name of the person you are addressing before hand, however so make a note of it before you leave this page

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Merlot in one hand, Cigar in the other; body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Or click on the 'text-balloon', which is right under ones avatar and rank to the left of his reply to this topic.

Quote: Difficult to forget: Coulston and I were in at their birth (and both featured in the video made for the Gateshead Garden Festival being attacked by an aggressive little bloke in a Roman hoodie). Only time you'll ever catch me playing dressing-up games... the ESG have tried and failed... ;-)

...and the link to the video is where?

Yes, Britannia are in the North East as well as the rest of the country. They have a training weekend in the midlands - at the Lunt fort for 5th Century and also Gladiatorial combat. The gladiatorial work that Britannia does is excellent, well choreographed and sought after. Their shows have become increasingly high profile over the last 18 months and they have a huge amount of kit that you can handle, and use at training sessions.

Their events tend to be in the south, but their 'Northern' arm is alive and kicking and there would usually be liftshares from the North to events that you might find otherwise difficult to get to...

Ps - 3rd Century is always a good move Smile

Buried deep in a slime-besmirched underground vault, guarded by crazed but loyal subarmalis-wearing devotees of the northern god Whyayebonnyladd. Trust me, it was not a pretty sight; and it is one for which civilization (as we know it) is not yet ready...

I bow to Whyayebonnyladd and offer a bottle of dog so that this video sees the light at some point...

Quote:I've seen them, but i think they are generally too far out of my travel range when looking at their events calendar.

Ha! I did an 11hour round trip from the South Coast for the Comitatus training weekend! Soft Northerners, afraid of a few miles...

I've been doing that for several years from Scotland to Dover and all over the country.
Some groups are more appreciative of effort than others.
