Napoleon - the theme park

As soon as I saw this, I'm sure you all know exactly what I thought (Caesar the theme park etc.).

Still, looks like it could be either outrageously garish, or mind-bogglingly awesome.

Bizarre Confusedhock:

I like the idea of somewhere that accurately depicts the uniforms and settings etc. - but a roller-coaster ride?

I was curious to see Trafalgar getting a mention on that layout plan - but no Waterloo?

Napoleon is a fascinating character and I would suspect even most British military historians have respect for the guy. But I wonder what L'emperor himself would think?

I know, interesting to see how this will play out.

To be honest, I do not really like the idea. Warfare is, in the first place, human suffering. I think I would prefer a theme park about, say, space exploration. Or daily life in ancient times.

Classic!

(And that water park is a lot of fun.)

Interesting idea. I hope they can get it as historically accurate as possible... now, I am wondering whether it would be a good idea to take a history class to this park. Educational and fun - if they do it correctly? There's something to ponder.
