3rd Century Cavalry
#1
I'm in the early stages of a new book project, and need one representative photo of a 3rd century cavalryman.Preferably in a Heddernheim or Buch helmet ... does anyone have any I could use (with suitable acknowledgements) or have any pointers to groups that might have such pictures??

Many thanks,
Paul Elliott

Not yet, but I could get you one eventually. Timetrotter also has some 3rd century cavalryman.

I suspect Comitatus may have a few hundred 3rd century cavalry shots both posed and from many different public shows. Some of the best ones were taken by Graham Sumner who may be able to help you out. Wink

Indeed we have photos of Roman cavalry from just about every period. Tomorrow we are doing a Republican photo shoot.
