More and more I've been looking at an auxiliary impression and have been wondering about the spatha. The early gladii being non parallel edged like the pompeii , (maintz, hispaniensis etc.) I've been wondering if the early spatha were also of a different shape than the lengthened pompeii style we see on the market today. Does anyone have any information on this?
