I think India is closer to the actual artifacts that where I live. In the US you have only publications for the most part to work with. Many RAT members who live in Europe have far better access for the details you ask for.
OK... You RATers who have access to images of the Butzbach please post for the man. The ONLY image I have is a drawing from Simkin's Warriors of Rome, 1988, pg 119.
And BTW, Gagan, I own 12 Deepeeka helmets. My favorites are the Gallic C and G, the Italic G, and the newer von Gravert. I actually have two von Graverts. The first early production had very uneven cheek pieces that did not close and probably cannot ever be made too, but had an excellent cross bracing and peak attachment. The second had very good cheek pieces, but had a less well made peak and attachment rivets.
