Found this one too. Expensive but seemingly very high quality.www.arquebus.com/trad_90mm/trad_90mm_med.html <p></p><i>Edited by: <A HREF=http://p200.ezboard.com/bromanarmytalk.showUserPublicProfile?gid=antoninuslucretius@romanarmytalk>Antoninus Lucretius</A> <IMG HEIGHT=10 WIDTH=10 SRC="http://lucretius.homestead.com/files/Cesar_triste.jpg" BORDER=0> at: 3/1/05 2:26 pm<br></i>

The Nero's tower and Caesar's Campaign Tent are pictured with Papo figures-that information was provided once you were in the supplier's site. US dealers include The Toy Soldier Company in New York City, and I believe the Michigan Toy Soldier Co may also carry them. I think the figures themselves are made in China. I am sure there are European dealers for them as well.<br>
As far as the figures with the first tower - I would like to know where to obtain them. Some were from the same Bullyland maker, but not all.<br>

You can always get some of them on Ebay, for example this set of "Elite command" or this one. Or this one from Toyway heroics.<br>
<br>
Or, older and with the knowledge of the fifties the hollywood-like Romans from Elastolin.<br>
<br>
Hey, are You all starting for figure hobby?<br>

Quintius, all the figures from the first tower pic are from Bullyland (Germany). They sell them at many toy stores and even at the Limesmuseum in Aalen.<br>
<br>
This wakes fond memories. I still have some old, old Timpo romans in my parents' house in Germany somewhere... <p></p><i></i>

I've just found my old toys which I was talking about there. Pictures to be expected in the near future..

In the meantime, has anybody (especiallyin Spain) seen these? They're from Airgamboys, which is the nearest to a Playmobil clone as ever I saw one. They're now advertised by Toys R us in The Netherlands..
The quality of the images is awful Confusedhock: , and that's from the manufacturer's website..
This lovely ship:

When i was a little boy (and not an old 74 year female :lol: ) i have had that ship. And nothing matches to the original ones... Roman Airgamboys were very close to the Holliwood depictions.

Very nice, they are much more beautiful than the Playmobil Romans. Oh, if I only would have had those toys when I was (maybe I still am) a child, what could I have constructed in combination with Lego stones!
BTW Robert, I still have some of my old toy Romans too, found them on EBay just these days:
