I have established a preliminary Yahoo group for the Pompeii Event. The web address is:

Please note that I will have as much info as possible on a related webpage shortly, so try not to ask too many questions yet. This is not even the official name of the event at this stage. I just wanted to get as many of you into the group as quickly as possible so we can start talking up ideas and such. As we are planning the Roman stuff, but not the event itself, I have to go between folks here and the folks in Mobile, so answers will be slow for a while. In any event, go ahead and join the yahoo group for updates, and I recommend only signing up for special notices, I will send important posts thru them, as I already get 25- emails or so from groups and am very aware of the frustrations involved!
I will add this link to the Legio VI page today too, www.legvi.com in case you cannot remember the yahoo address.
