What do you mean with "butted"? Not rivet?

Sorry, my English is quite bad :?

Thank you Jim!

I would first have to ask Antoni Feldon about how his chain mails are made. Its costs starts by 750 €. I would be astonished if Antonis hamatas would be butted! But who knows ........

Seeing that his other prices are rather high compared too a lot of other dealers, and that correct rivetted mail takes so long to produce in comparison to the other things he makes, I guess it will be butted mail.
But perhaps he does not make them himself. In that case I can believe the shirts are made alternating solid/rivetted.

Here is an updated photo of us at an event Saturday night. Of course, none of us were organized enough to bring the camera -- lot's of finger-pointing and "I thought you were bringing it..."

But, I am the legionary on the far right.

I will kit up today when my wife returns home and take more detailed photos -- to include those I owe Jim of the back.

Sorry!

Well, dog-gone it! :x

I keep trying to add the pic which is 96kb in size, and keep getting told that I have reached my 1MB upload maximum.

Can anyone help?

That picture is probably fine, but maybe some older picture you've posted could be resized smaller? The 1MB is a set amount, and cumulative, IIRC.

Ave Edge,

congrats - looks very nice! Big Grin

A close range photograph also would be interesting to see more detail of the rings.

BTW: Already received a seg together with the hook ?

Thanks, Brothers.

I don't recall posting that many photos, but I guess I have lost track!

I received the hamata (this in response to Heiko's post) and the hooks from Matt Lukes.

I got the 6mm hamata from Find-It Armory, and it was the prototype so that's why I have it so early.

I ordered the hooks and buttons from Matt Lukes as soon as I ordered the hamata, and he was kind enough to make them for me in time to mount when I received the hamata.

I will try to post some more pics ASAP, close-ups as well as shots of the back for Jim.

Ave Edge,

my 1MB space is also filled to its limit.

You can start a photobucket (or something similar) account for a free upload of pictures and add the links to them to your post here on RAT.

Only the link is visible then, but better than no pic at all.

OK -- thanks to Heiko I have a Photobucket account.

Here is an image of me wearing the hamata, not a good one, a situation I will remedy in a day or two when I can get kitted out and have some daytime pics made.

Yup. It's a good product.

Just remember I did some extra work to it.

Compare my pics to the originals in the marketplace.
