Quote:Not looking to the way it presents the background and history, i really couldn't stop to laugh about the "camouflag segmentatae", the really big and not to close helmet of the leader or the ..."big" sword of one of the celts....
Just great Big Grin
And this sentence "raves and rocks and the romans"....just great.
I wasn't able to understand what they called the shield wall they performed against the spears. Did they really called it testudo?

The segs, shields and helmets are the same ones used for "Attila" (starring Gerard Butler and Powers Boothe)

And from the looks of them, same goes for the loricae hamata. Sleeveless, no doublers, strange-looking and typical.

The enemy is less likely to get wind of an advance of cavalry, if the orders for march were passed from mouth to mouth rather than announced by voice of herald, or public notice. Xenophon

The Batavians were known for taking the heads of enemies in battle.....the archaeologists in the video were not sure if the skull they found belonged to someone who 'was scalped alive or had his hair removed after his death'.... !

Not only Batavians, but it was usual for the head to be taken by Republican victors of single combat.
