I'm still tempted to attach a Batavian auxilia cohort to our group. But as we depict soldiers from Legio XI CPF I don't know if it would be right... Legio XI CPF was one of the legions that surpressed the revolt... I don't know if they would have get along nicely afterwards... Or if they would have send a legion that had operated with them in the past to fight against them...

What do you guys think?

Thanks, Brother -- unless you are a Michaelangelo like Peronis, make sure you set aside about 20 hours from first coat of green through the last bit of brown outlining. :lol:

Here's a tip.. Paint the yellow FIRST! Painting yellow on top of a darker base colour will weaken the impact of the yellow, and it will need two coats (or more).

If you have a white undercoat (or start with white linen) the yellow will stand out much better. Then paint the darker colour around the yellow pattern.
