From ~68-69 AD, in Vindonissa through the start of the 2nd Dacian War, when they went to Dacia.

I have a little project going, I´m doing a picture in Photoshop where I wan´t as many people as possible who personify Batavians to join ranks. Jef: It's simple, I don't try to explain a link between the two formations. I am a re-enactor, not a member of Legio XI in the 1st C AD. Our Legio XI is a representation of a Roman legio, not a legio, and COH I BAT is a representation of the other half of the Roman Army, the corps of auxiliaries. When we interact with the public, we make that clear. What we aim to do is portray accurate impressions of both legionaries and auxiliaries -- but we don't worry about whether or not this legio was stationed with (or operated with) that particular Cohort.
Martin: I would really like that, and will take some pics at our event this weekend.
